Scott Nelson spent over forty years in the architectural woodwork manufacturing industry; he owned his own business for 28 years before retiring in 2011. He is a Past President of the Architectural Woodwork Institute and was active in the development of the AWI estimating and project management programs. In 2007, Scott chaired the AWI committee that created the Woodwork Career Alliance of North America with a matching grant from the US Forestry Department and has served as WCA’s President since its creation.
