This session will introduce attendees to the ways in which craftspeople and artists are using and embracing 21st century digital technologies, with a focus on 3-D modeling and CNC routing. This two-part presentation will start with a macro-overview exploring how today’s craft artists are leveraging digital techniques. Part two will present an individual case study of how one studio furniture maker has brought digital modeling and the CNC into his practice to increase both productivity and creativity.
