Renowned veneering artist, Scott Grove, will demonstrate how to work with wood veneer in the extreme, including his award-winning asymmetrical spiral match that allows for a wide pattern options. Unlike traditional book matching, this new technique creates unusual patterns and more expressive designs. Scott will also share a variety of extreme compound curve veneering techniques. By conditioning the veneer, it becomes more pliable which allows him and his students to veneer extreme curves—including things like pencils, Bombay chests, motorcycles, and even the human body.
