We will discuss and demonstrate the proven science and physics of vacuum clamping for holding parts on a CNC router vacuum table. This is vastly different from typical down-drafting through an open MDF spoilboard and produces superior holding power, especially for small parts that are inherently difficult to work with. Using these demonstrated techniques, we will show you how to eliminate the need for tabs, onion skins, multiple passes, or the need for more or larger pumps with higher-quality results.
Learning Objectives:
- How to Increase Vacuum Hold on a CNC Router
- Demonstrate Vacuum Clamping Vs Down drafting
- How to eliminate tabs, onion skinning and multiple passes
