Phil Stevenson

Phil Stevenson has been active in the wood finishing industry since 1980 and is the President of the American Wood Finishing Institute (AWFI).  He has owned finishing operations and worked for a major manufacturer handling process training and new product development.  In recent years his focus has been on training in coatings as well as evaluation and R&D of cutting-edge technologies. Phil is the lead finishing process instructor at AWFI. He leads corporate training programs and is a consultant on wood finishing in the U.S. and abroad.
