Michael Pekovich

Michael Pekovich is the art director at Fine Woodworking magazine as well as an avid woodworker. Mike studied furniture making at Long Beach State University in California and graphic design at Platt College. In addition to overseeing the layout of the magazine, Mike is in charge of photo instruction for the editorial staff. He has photographed over 35 covers for Fine Woodworking and authored dozens of articles including one on photographing furniture based on the techniques used by the magazine.
